DTC Advanced Diagnostics: P0835
DTC P0835:Clutch Pedal Position Switch B Circuit Low Voltage (Engine Type: K24W1) General Description
The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the clutch pedal position switch B signal to switch the starting system from auto control mode to manual mode when it malfunctions. When the PCM cannot detect an ON signal from clutch pedal position switch B while the clutch pedal is released, the detection continues after the ignition switch is turned to LOCK (0), or the engine start/stop button is pressed to select the OFF mode. If the malfunction continues for a set time after the ignition switch is turned to LOCK (0), or the engine start/stop button is pressed to select the OFF mode, the PCM detects a malfunction and stores a DTC.
