Interior Lights System Description - Control/Function
System Function
Initial state of connection of electric power supply
In the initial state of connection of electric power supply, close/open of each door is detected and controlled without being affected by states of the ignition switch or the engine start/stop switch and the driver's door lock knob switch.
Driver's door lock knob switch link
When a driver door lock knob switch moves from the lock/unlock position, the MICU detects the driver's door open/close position, and control the interior lights.
Each door switch link
By opening each door, the MICU will light the interior lights at any time.
Ignition key switch/Remote link
When the system detects that the ignition key is inserted into the ignition key switch, or the remote is inside the vehicle, it provides a ground to the interior lights.
Ignition switch/Engine start/stop switch link
If all doors are closed and turned the vehicle to the ON mode, the MICU fades off the interior lights.
Keyless link
When the MICU receives an unlock signal from the keyless access control unit (or immobilizer-keyless control unit), it provides a ground to the interior lights.
Timer conditions
The chart shows lighting duration, along with the dimming function that occurs at the end of the timer period. Trunk Light Control
The MICU controls the trunk light ON/OFF based on the trunk lid latch switch signals. Door Courtesy Lights Control
The MICU controls the door courtesy light ON/OFF based on the door switch signals. |
