Rear Engine Mount Removal and Installation
M/T

1. Front Tower Bar - Remove (If equipped)

Remove the front tower bar.

2. Engine - Support

Lift and support the engine with a jack and a wood block under the oil pan.

3. Rear Engine Mount Mounting Bolt - Remove
Remove the rear engine mount mounting bolts.


4. Rear Engine Mount - Remove
Remove the rear engine mount.


A/T

1. Front Tower Bar - Remove (If equipped)

Remove the front tower bar.

2. Air Cleaner - Remove

Remove the air cleaner.

3. Brake Booster Vacuum Hose Clamp - Remove
Remove the brake booster vacuum hose clamp.


4. Under-Hood Fuse/Relay Box - Remove
Remove the under-hood fuse/relay box with the bracket.


5. ATF Warmer - Remove
Remove the ATF warmer without disconnecting the ATF warmer hoses and the water bypass hoses.


6. Engine - Support

Lift and support the engine with a jack and a wood block under the oil pan.

7. Rear Engine Mount Stop and Rear Engine Mount Mounting Bolt - Remove
1.
Remove the rear engine mount stop (A).
2.
Remove the rear engine mount mounting bolt (B).

8. Rear Engine Mount Mounting Bolt - Remove
1.
Disconnect the rear engine mount actuator connector (A).
2.
Remove the rear engine mount mounting bolts (B).

9. Rear Engine Mount - Remove
Remove the rear engine mount from the under-hood fuse/relay box side.


M/T

1. Rear Engine Mount - Install
Install the rear engine mount.


2. Rear Engine Mount Mounting Bolt - Tighten
1.
Tighten the new rear engine mount mounting bolts (A).
2.
Loosely install the new rear engine mount mounting bolt (B).

3. Jack and Wood Block - Remove

Remove the jack and the wood block.

4. Rear Engine Mount Mounting Bolt - Install
Tighten the rear engine mount mounting bolt (A).


5. Front Tower Bar - Install (If equipped)

Install the front tower bar.

A/T

1. Rear Engine Mount - Install
Install the rear engine mount to the under-hood fuse/relay box side.


2. Rear Engine Mount Mounting Bolt - Tighten
1.
Tighten the new rear engine mount mounting bolts (A).
2.
Connect the rear engine mount actuator connector (B).

3. Jack and Wood Block - Remove

Remove the jack and the wood block.

4. Rear Engine Mount Stop and Rear Engine Mount Mounting Bolt - Install
1.
Install the new rear engine mount mounting bolt (A).
2.
Install the rear engine mount stop (B) using new nuts.

5. ATF Warmer - Install
Install the ATF warmer.


6. Under-Hood Fuse/Relay Box - Install
Install the under-hood fuse/relay box with the bracket.


7. Brake Booster Vacuum Hose Clamp - Install
Install the brake booster vacuum hose clamp.


8. Air Cleaner - Install

Install the air cleaner.

9. Front Tower Bar - Install (If equipped)

Install the front tower bar.
