Upper Transmission Mount Removal and Installation
1. Battery - Remove

Do the battery removal procedure.

2. Air Cleaner - Remove

Remove the air cleaner.

3. Harness Clamp - Remove
Remove the harness clamps (A).


4. PCM with Bracket - Remove
Remove the PCM (A) with the bracket (B).


5. Transmission - Support

Lift and support the engine with a jack and a wood block under the transmission.

6. Upper Transmission Mount - Remove

CVT
1.
Remove the ground cable (A).
2.
Remove the upper transmission mount bracket mounting bolts (B) and the upper transmission mount mounting bolts (C).
NOTE: Do not remove the bolt (D) from the upper transmission mount. If the bolt is removed, the upper transmission mount must be replaced as an assembly.
3.
Remove the upper transmission mount.

1. Upper Transmission Mount - Install

M/T

CVT
1.
Install the upper transmission mount.
2.
Tighten the new upper transmission mount mounting bolts (A).
3.
Loosely install the new upper transmission mount bracket mounting bolts (B).
4.
Install the ground cable (C).

2. Jack and Wood Block - Remove

Remove the jack and the wood block.

3. Upper Transmission Mount Bracket Mounting Bolt - Tighten

M/T

CVT
Tighten the upper transmission mount bracket mounting bolts.


4. PCM with Bracket - Install
Install the PCM (A) with the bracket (B).


5. Harness Clamp - Install
Install the harness clamps (A).


6. Air Cleaner - Install

Install the air cleaner.
