Lift and support the engine with a jack and a wood block under the transmission.

Upper Transmission Mount - Remove

A/T
1.
Remove the upper transmission mount bracket mounting bolts (A) and the upper transmission mount mounting bolts (B).
NOTE: Do not remove the bolt (C) from the upper transmission mount. If the bolt is removed, the upper transmission mount must be replaced as an assembly.

M/T: Remove the ground cable (D).
3.
Remove the upper transmission mount.

Transmission Mount - Install

A/T
1.
Install the upper transmission mount.
2.
Tighten the new upper transmission mount mounting bolts (A).

M/T: Loosely install the new upper transmission mount bracket mounting bolts (B)
4.
A/T: Loosely install the new upper transmission mount bracket mounting bolts (C) in tne numbered sequence shown.
5.
M/T: Install the ground cable (D).

Jack and Wood Block - Remove
Remove the jack and the wood block.
3.
Transmission Mount Bracket Mounting Bolt - Tighten
M/T
A/T
1.
M/T: Tighten the transmission mount bracket mounting bolts.
2.
A/T: Tighten the transmission mount bracket mounting bolts in the numbered sequence shown.
