1. Crankshaft Pulley - Remove


2. Pulley End Crankshaft Oil Seal - Remove

Remove the pulley end crankshaft oil seal (A) using a commercially available pry bar.


3. Pulley End Crankshaft Oil Seal - Install

1.
Clean and dry the pulley end crankshaft oil seal housing.

Apply a light coat of new engine oil to the lip of the new pulley end crankshaft oil seal.

3.
Using the driver handle, 15 x 135L and the hub dis/assembly tool, 42 mm, drive in the new pulley end crankshaft oil seal (A) squarely into the chain case to the specified installed height.






4.
Measure the distance between the cam chain case surface (A) and the pulley end crankshaft oil seal (B).

Pulley End Crankshaft Oil Seal Installed Height:
5.6?5.9 mm (0.220?0.232 in)

Clean the excess oil off the crankshaft, and check that the pulley end crankshaft oil seal lip is not distorted.

4. Crankshaft Pulley - Install
