Thermostat Housing Removal and Installation
1. Engine Coolant - Drain

Drain the engine coolant.

2. Battery - Remove

Do the battery removal procedure.

3. Air Cleaner - Remove

Remove the air cleaner.

4. Harness Clamp - Remove
Remove the harness clamps (A).


5. PCM with Bracket - Remove
Remove the PCM (A) with the bracket (B).


6. Harness Bracket and Engine Mount Control Solenoid Valve Bracket - Remove
Remove the harness bracket (A) and the engine mount control solenoid valve bracket (B).


7. ECT Sensor 1 - Remove

Remove ECT Sensor 1.

8. Thermostat - Remove

Remove the thermostat.

9. Hose - Disconnect
1.
Disconnect the upper radiator hose (A), the water bypass hoses (B) and the heater hoses (C).
2.
CVT: Disconnect the water bypass hoses (D).

10. Thermostat Housing - Remove
Remove the thermostat housing.


1. Thermostat Housing - Install
Install the thermostat housing (A), using new O-rings (B).


2. Hose - Connect
1.
Connect the upper radiator hose (A), the water bypass hoses (B) and the heater hoses (C).
2.
CVT: Connect the water bypass hoses (D).

3. Thermostat - Install

Install the thermostat.

4. ECT Sensor 1 - Install

Install ECT Sensor 1.

5. Harness Bracket and Engine Mount Control Solenoid Valve Bracket - Install
Install the harness bracket (A) and the engine mount control solenoid valve bracket (B).


6. PCM with Bracket - Install
Install the PCM (A) with the bracket (B).


7. Harness Clamp - Install
Install the harness clamps (A).


8. Air Cleaner - Install

Install the air cleaner.
