Remove the front subframe using necessary support tools.
NOTE: After removing the subframe mounting bolts, the rear stiffener mounting bolts, the front subframe middle mount rubber mounting bolts, the middle mount bracket mounting bolts, and the steering gearbox stiffener mounting bolts, be sure to replace them with new ones.
Rear Subframe

Rear Subframe - Remove
Remove the rear subframe using necessary support tools.
NOTE: After removing the subframe mounting bolts and the rear stiffener mounting bolts, be sure to replace them with new ones.
Front Subframe

Front Subframe - Install
NOTE:
Align the front subframe with the subframe alignment pin.
Align the front subframe in the following sequence.
1.
Lift the front subframe (A) up to the body, and loosely install the new subframe mounting bolts (B), the new rear stiffener mounting bolts (C), the rear stiffeners (D), the front stiffener mounting bolts (E), and the front stiffeners (F).
2.
Loosely install the new front subframe middle mount rubber mounting bolts (G, H) securing the front subframe middle mount rubber (I).

Insert the subframe alignment pin (J) through the positioning hole (K) on the right rear subframe, and into the positioning hole (L) on the body, then loosely tighten the subframe right rear mounting bolt.
4.
Insert the subframe alignment pin through the positioning hole on the left rear subframe, and into the positioning hole on the body, then loosely tighten the subframe left rear mounting bolt.
5.
Tighten the subframe mounting bolts to the specified torque in the sequence shown. Use the subframe alignment pin when tightening the rear side subframe mounting bolts.
6.
Check all of the subframe mounting bolts, and retighten if necessary.
7.
Tighten the middle mount mounting bolts to the specified torque.
NOTE: When installing, align both positioning holes on the rear stiffener and the rear subframe with the positioning holes on the body using the subframe alignment pin as a guide. First align the right positioning hole, and next align the left positioning hole.
