Disconnect the trunk lid latch connector.

Check the actuator operation by connecting power and ground according to the table.

NOTE: To prevent damage to the actuator, apply battery voltage only momentarily.

If the actuator does not work, the trunk lid release actuator is faulty; replace the trunk lid latch (A).

Connect the trunk lid latch switch connector.
