ANC/Active Sound Control Microphone Removal and Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

NOTE: The front ANC/active sound control microphone, the front HFL-ANC/active sound control microphone, and the front HFL-navigation-ANC/active sound control microphone are the same parts.

Front

1. Roof Console - Remove

Remove the roof console.

2. Front ANC/Active Sound Control Microphone - Remove
Remove the front ANC/active sound control microphone (A) from the roof console (B).


Rear

1. Headliner - Remove

Remove the headliner.

2. Rear ANC/Active Sound Control Microphone - Remove
1.
Disconnect the rear ANC/active sound control microphone connector.
2.
Remove the rear ANC/active sound control microphone (A) and cap (B) from the headliner.

Front

1. Front ANC/Active Sound Control Microphone - Install
Install the front ANC/active sound control microphone (A) to the roof console (B).


2. Roof Console - Install

Install the roof console.

Rear

1. Rear ANC/Active Sound Control Microphone - Install
1.
Install the rear ANC/active sound control microphone (A) and cap (B) to the headliner.
2.
Connect rear ANC/active sound control microphone connector.

2. Headliner - Install

Install the headliner.
