Audio-Navigation Unit Removal and Installation

NOTE:
Do not work in a dusty or dirty place.
Do not work with dirty hands.
Eject the disc before disconnecting the audio-navigation unit to prevent damaging the CD/DVD player's load mechanism.
If you are replacing the audio-navigation unit, write down the audio presets (if possible), and enter them into the new audio-navigation unit.

1. Driver's Inner Dashboard Trim - Remove


2. Navigation Switch Panel - Remove


3. Dashboard Center Display Lower Visor - Remove


4. Audio-Navigation Unit Assembly - Remove

1.
Remove the bolts (A).





2.
Remove teh screws (B), then pull out the audio-navigation unit assembly (C).

3.
Disconnect the hazard warning switch connector (D) and the audio-navigation unit connectors.

NOTE: There is a lever lock on audio-navigation unit connector A.

5. Audio-Navigation Unit - Remove

NOTE:
Do not touch the circuit board(s) with your bare hands.
Discharge static electricity from your body before and during the work.
Do not touch the terminal connector of the flat plate cable with your bare hands (If you have touched it, wipe it off thoroughly).

Remove the holder (A).





2.
Remove the brackets (A).





3.
Disconnect the flat plate cable connector, and remove the audio-navigation unit (A) from the audio panel (B).

4.
If you are replacing the audio-navigation unit, remove the HDD.


NOTE:

If you are replacing the audio-navigation unit, write down the audio presets (if possible), and enter them into the new audio-navigation unit.
After installing the audio-navigation unit, park the vehicle outside, and do the GPS initialization.
When the audio-navigation unit is replaced or disconnected, do the Map Matching. This part of the initialization matches the GPS coordinates with a road on the map screen. To do this part of the procedure, make sure that the navigation system displays a map, and drive the vehicle on a mapped road shown on the map screen. Do not enter a destination at this time. When the name of the current road you are driving on appears at the bottom of the screen, the entire procedure is complete.

1. Audio-Navigation Unit - Install

NOTE:

Do not touch the terminal connector of the flat plate cable with your bare hands (If you have touched it, wipe it off thoroughly).

Connect the flat plate cable connector, and install the audio-navigation unit (A) to the audio panel (B).





3.
Install the brackets (A).





4.
Install the holder (A).

2. Audio-Navigation Unit Assembly - Install

1.
Connect the audio-navigation unit connectors and the hazard warning switch connector (B).

NOTE:
There is a lever lock on audio-navigation unit connector A.
Make sure all the connectors are secure.

2.
Install the audio-navigation unit assembly (C), then install the screws (D).





3.
Install the bolts (A).
