Park Pin Switch Removal and Installation

NOTE: The park pin switch and the A/T gear position indicator panel light harness are not available separately.

1. Center Console - Remove

Remove the center console.

2. Shift Lever Knob and Shift Lever Knob Ring - Remove

Remove the shift lever knob and the shift lever knob ring.

3. A/T Gear Position Indicator Panel Assembly - Remove

Remove the A/T gear position indicator panel assembly.

4. Shift Lever Connector - Disconnect
Disconnect the shift lever connector (A).


5. Shift Lock Release - Remove

Remove the shift lock release.

6. Park Pin Switch - Remove

Remove the park pin switch (A).
2.
Remove the connector clamp (B).
3.
Unhook the A/T gear position indicator panel light harness (C) from the harness guides, then remove the park pin switch/A/T gear position indicator panel light harness.


NOTE: The park pin switch and the A/T gear position indicator panel light harness are not available separately.

1. Park Pin Switch - Install

Install the connector clamp (A).
2.
Install the park pin switch (B).
3.
Route the A/T gear position indicator panel light harness (C) along the harness guides.

2. Shift Lock Release - Install

Install the shift lock release.

3. Shift Lever Connector - Connect
Connect the shift lever connector (A).


4. A/T Gear Position Indicator Panel Assembly - Install

Install the A/T gear position indicator panel assembly.

5. Shift Lever Knob and Shift Lever Knob Ring - Install

Install the shift lever knob and the shift lever knob ring.

6. Center Console - Install

Install the center console.
