Shift Lock Solenoid Removal and Installation
1. Center Console - Remove

Remove the center console.

2. Shift Lock Solenoid Connector - Disconnect
Disconnect the shift lock solenoid connector (A).


3. Shift Lock Solenoid - Remove
NOTE: Do not wipe off the special grease applied to the area of the shift lever marked with an asterisk (*) when you disassemble it.

Remove the connector clamp (A).
2.
Unhook the shift lock solenoid harness (B) from the harness guides.
3.
Pull the shift lock solenoid (A) out by expanding the lock tab (B).
4.
Remove the shift lock solenoid (A).
NOTE: The shift lock solenoid consists of the solenoid (B), the solenoid plunger (C), and the plunger spring (D).

1. Shift Lock Solenoid - Install
NOTE: Do not wipe off the special grease applied to the area of the shift lever marked with an asterisk (*) when you assemble it.

Assemble the solenoid (A), the solenoid plunger (B), and the plunger spring (C).
2.
Install the shift lock solenoid (D) by aligning the joint of the solenoid plunger with the tip of the shift lock stop (E).
3.
Route the shift lock solenoid harness (A) along the harness guides.
4.
Install the connector clamp (B).

2. Shift Lock Solenoid Connector - Connect
Connect the shift lock solenoid connector (A).


3. Center Console - Install

Install the center console.
