NOTE: Do not wipe off the special grease applied to the area of the shift lever marked with an asterisk (*) when you disassemble it.
Remove the shift lever knob (A).

A/T Gear Position Indicator Panel Assembly - Remove
NOTE: Do not wipe off the special grease applied to the area of the shift lever marked with an asterisk (*) when you disassemble it.
1.
Remove the A/T gear position indicator panel light socket (A).
2.
Remove the bulb (B).
3.
Lift the front of the A/T gear position indicator panel assembly (A) up by pressing two lock tabs (B).
4.
Remove the A/T gear position indicator panel assembly while sliding the guides (C).
5.
Select Cover - Remove
Remove the select cover (A).
6.
Shift Lock Release - Remove
NOTE: Do not wipe off the special grease applied to the area of the shift lever marked with an asterisk (*) when you disassemble it.
Pry out on the lock tab (A), then remove the shift lock release (B).
7.
Park Pin Switch/A/T Gear Position Indicator Panel Light Harness - Remove
1.
Remove the park pin switch (A).
2.
Remove the connector clamp (B).
3.
Unhook the A/T gear position indicator panel light harness (C) from the harness guides, then remove the park pin switch/A/T gear position indicator panel light harness.
8.
Shift Lock Solenoid - Remove
NOTE: Do not wipe off the special grease applied to the area of the shift lever marked with an asterisk (*) when you disassemble it.
1.
Remove the connector clamp (A).
2.
Unhook the shift lock solenoid harness (B) from the harness guides.
3.
Pull the shift lock solenoid (A) out by expanding the lock tab (B).
4.
Remove the shift lock solenoid (A).
NOTE: The shift lock solenoid consists of the solenoid (B), the solenoid plunger (C), and the plunger spring (D).

Shift Lock Stop/Shift Lock Stop Cushion - Remove
NOTE: Do not wipe off the special grease applied to the area of the shift lever marked with an asterisk (*) when you disassemble it.
Remove the shift lock stop/shift lock stop cushion (A).

Shift Lock Stop/Shift Lock Stop Cushion - Install
NOTE: Do not wipe off the special grease applied to the area of the shift lever marked with an asterisk (*) when you assemble it.
Install the shift lock stop/shift lock stop cushion (A).
2.
Shift Lock Solenoid - Install
NOTE: Do not wipe off the special grease applied to the area of the shift lever marked with an asterisk (*) when you assemble it.
1.
Assemble the solenoid (A), the solenoid plunger (B), and the plunger spring (C).
2.
Install the shift lock solenoid (D) by aligning the joint of the shift lock solenoid plunger with the tip of the shift lock stop (E).
3.
Route the shift lock solenoid harness (A) along the harness guides.
4.
Install the connector clamp (B).

Park Pin Switch/A/T Gear Position Indicator Panel Light Harness - Install
1.
Install the connector clamp (A).
2.
Install the park pin switch (B).
3.
Route the A/T gear position indicator panel light harness (C) along the harness guides.
4.
Shift Lock Release - Install
NOTE: Do not wipe off the special grease applied to the area of the shift lever marked with an asterisk (*) when you assemble it.
Install the shift lock release (A).
5.
Select Cover - Install
Install the select cover (A).
6.
A/T Gear Position Indicator Panel Assembly - Install
NOTE: Do not wipe off the special grease applied to the area of the shift lever marked with an asterisk (*) when you assemble it.
1.
Install the A/T gear position indicator panel assembly (A) while sliding the guides (B).
2.
Install the front of the A/T gear position indicator panel assembly by aligning two lock tabs (C).
3.
Install the A/T gear position indicator panel light bulb (A).
4.
Install the A/T gear position indicator panel light socket (B).
7.
Shift Lever Knob - Install
NOTE: Do not wipe off the special grease applied to the area of the shift lever marked with an asterisk (*) when you assemble it.
Install the shift lever knob (A) using new screws (B).
