*: 07736-A01000B must be used with commercially available 3/8"-16 slide hammer.
1. Countershaft Bearing - Remove

1.
Remove the countershaft bearing (A) using the 25?40 mm adjustable bearing puller and a commercially available 3/8"-16 slide hammer (B).





2.
Remove the ATF guide plate (A), and replace it if it is damaged.

2. Countershaft Bearing - Install

1.
Install the ATF guide plate (A).





2.
Install the countershaft bearing (A) in the direction shown.





3.
Drive the countershaft bearing (A) using the 15 x 135L driver handle and the 72 x 75 mm bearing driver attachment; install the bearing outer notch-cut (B) to a depth (C) of 0?0.14 mm (0?0.0055 in) below the torque converter housing surface (D).
