*: 07736-A01000B must be used with commercially available 3/8"-16 slide hammer.

Third Shaft Bearing - Remove
1.
Remove the third shaft bearing (A) using the 25?40 mm adjustable bearing puller and a commercially available 3/8"-16 slide hammer (B).
2.
Remove the ATF guide plate (A), and replace it if it is damaged.

Third Shaft Bearing - Install
1.
Install the ATF guide plate (A).
2.
Install the third shaft bearing (A).
3.
Drive the third shaft bearing (A) using the 15 x 135L driver handle and the 52 x 55 mm bearing driver attachment; install the bearing to a depth (B) of 0?0.07 mm (0?0.0012 in) below the torque converter housing surface (C).
