Shift Lock Release Removal and Installation
1. Center Console - Remove

Remove the center console.

2. Shift Lever Knob and Shift Lever Knob Ring - Remove

Remove the shift lever knob and the shift lever knob ring.

3. A/T Gear Position Indicator Panel Assembly - Remove

Remove the A/T gear position indicator panel assembly.

4. Shift Lock Release - Remove
NOTE: Do not wipe off the special grease applied to the area of the shift lever marked with an asterisk (*) when you disassemble it.

Pry out on the lock tab (A), then remove the shift lock release (B).


1. Shift Lock Release - Install
NOTE: Do not wipe off the special grease applied to the area of the shift lever marked with an asterisk (*) when you assemble it.

Install the shift lock release (A).


2. A/T Gear Position Indicator Panel Assembly - Install

Install the A/T gear position indicator panel assembly.

3. Shift Lever Knob and Shift Lever Knob Ring - Install

Install the shift lever knob and the shift lever knob ring.

4. Center Console - Install

Install the center console.
