1. Driven Pulley Shaft Bearing - Remove

Remove the snap ring (A) using the snap ring pliers.






2.
Remove the cotter retainer (A).

3.
Remove the 25.5 mm cotters (B).





4.
Remove the driven pulley shaft bearing (A) using a commercially available puller (B) and a spacer (C).

1. Driven Pulley Shaft Bearing - Install

Drive the driven pulley shaft bearing (A) securely using the 40 mm I.D. driver handle and the 30 mm I.D. bearing driver attachment so there is no clearance between the driven pulley shaft bearing and the secondary drive gear.






2.
Clean the cotter groove of the driven pulley shaft.

3.
Install the 25.5 mm cotters (A).


5.
Install the cotter retainer (B).






6.
Install the snap ring (A) using the snap ring pliers.

7.
Check that the snap ring is seated in the snap ring groove of the driven pulley shaft.





8.
Measure the snap ring outside diameter and end gap.

Dimensions After Setting Snap Ring
End Gap (A):
7.2 mm (0.283 in) or less
Outside Diameter (B):
33.9 mm (1.335 in) or less
