NOTE:
The carrier bearing and the carrier bearing outer race should be replaced as a set.
Replace the carrier bearing with a new one whenever the carrier bearing outer race is replaced.
Adjust the carrier bearing preload after replacing the carrier bearing and the carrier bearing outer race.
Coat all parts with transmission fluid during installation.

1. Carrier Bearing Outer Race - Remove
1.
Remove the carrier bearing outer race (A).
2.
Remove the 41 x 92 x 1 mm spacer (B).

2. Carrier Bearing Outer Race - Install
1.
Install the 41 x 92 x 1 mm spacer (A) by aligning the tab (B) with the groove (C).
2.
Place the carrier bearing outer race (D).
3.
Drive the carrier bearing outer race securely using the 15 x 135L driver handle and the 78 x 90 mm attachment so there is no clearance between the carrier bearing outer race, the 41 x 92 x 1 mm spacer, and the transmission housing.
