Driving Position Memory Clear

Clear the driving position memory after doing any of the following actions:
Power seat motor test or replacement.
Substitute a known-good power seat control unit.

NOTE: If the driving position memory is cleared, following memory stored in the power seat control unit is cleared.
Position 1 and 2 of the driving position memory stored in the power seat control unit.

1. Driving Position Memory - Clear

Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
2.
Press and hold the SET button of the driving position memory switch.
3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
4.
Release the SET button of the driving position memory switch.
5.
Repeat steps 1?4 three more times.
NOTE:
Once memory is successfully cleared, the driving position memory switch indicator 1 and 2 are turned on for 3 seconds.
If the indicators are not turned on, go back to step 1 and repeat the procedure.
