Is DTC P0335 indicated?
The failure is duplicated. Go to step 2.
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the CKP sensor and the PCM.?

Open wire check (IGP/FI MAIN RLY OUT line):
Open wire check (IGP/FI MAIN RLY OUT line)

Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
?2.
Disconnect the following connector.
?3.
Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.
?4.
Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition
ON mode
CKP sensor 3P connector: disconnected
Test circuit
IGP
Test point 1
CKP sensor 3P connector No. 1 (YEL)
Test point 2
Body ground
Is there battery voltage?
The IGP/FI MAIN RLY OUT wire is OK. Go to step 3.

Determine possible failure area (CRK line, LG line):

Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.

CKP sensor 3P connector: disconnected

Is there about 5.0 V?

Open wire check (LG line):
Open wire check (LG line)

Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.

IGP, LG
Test point 1
CKP sensor 3P connector No. 1 (YEL)
Test point 2
CKP sensor 3P connector No. 2 (BRN)
Is there battery voltage?
5.
Shorted wire check (CRK line):
Shorted wire check (CRK line)

Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
?2.
Jump the SCS line with the HDS.
SCS Short
?3.
Disconnect the following connector.
?4.
Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition
OFF mode
CKP sensor 3P connector: disconnected
PCM connector C (51P): disconnected

Test point 1
PCM connector C (51P) No. 11 (BLU)
Test point 2
Body ground
Is there continuity?
The CRK wire is not shorted. Go to step 6.

Open wire check (CRK line):
Open wire check (CRK line)

Connect terminals A and B with a jumper wire.

Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

CKP sensor 3P connector: disconnected
CKP sensor 3P connector No. 3: jumped to body ground
PCM connector C (51P): disconnected

PCM connector C (51P) No. 11 (BLU)
Test point 2

Is there continuity?
Repair verification:
?1.
Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
?2.
Reconnect all connectors.
?3.
Exit the SCS mode with the HDS.
SCS Open
?4.
Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.
?8.
CRANK PATTERN LEARNING
?9.
Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.

DTC (PGM-FI)
Is DTC P0335 indicated?
Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the CKP sensor and the PCM. If the PCM was updated,
substitute a known-good PCM , then recheck. If the PCM was substituted, go to step 1.
Troubleshooting is complete. If the PCM was substituted,
replace the original PCM . If any other Pending or Confirmed DTCs are indicated, go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.?
