DTC P16E4: ACG High-temperature
NOTE:
Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot, and review the general troubleshooting information.
This DTC is stored when the alternator temperature is high (about 320 °F (160 °C) or more).

1.
Problem verification:

Problem verification
?1.
If the temperature of the engine and the alternator is high, open the hood to cool the engine compartment.

?2.
Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.

?3.
Clear the DTC with the HDS.


?4.
Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.

Check the cause of the high temperature, and repair it.?
