Is DTC P2135 indicated?
The failure is duplicated. Go to step 2.
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the throttle body and the PCM.?
2.
Throttle body operation check:
Throttle body operation check
?1.
Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
?2.
Disconnect the intake air duct from the throttle body.
?3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.
?5.
Visually check the throttle valve operation.
Does the valve temporarily move to its fully closed position?
3.
Determine possible failure area (PCM, others):
Determine possible failure area (PCM, others)
?1.
Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
?2.
Jump the SCS line with the HDS.
SCS Short
?3.
Disconnect the following connector.
?4.
Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition
IG LOCK (0) or OFF mode
PCM connector B (51P): disconnected
Test circuit
THL1, THL2
Test point 1
PCM connector B (51P) No. 46 (RED/BLK)
Test point 2
PCM connector B (51P) No. 47 (RED/BLU)
Is there continuity?
4.
Shorted wire check (THL1 line to THL2 line):
Shorted wire check (THL1 line to THL2 line)
?1.
Disconnect the following connector.
?2.
Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition
IG LOCK (0) or OFF mode
PCM connector B (51P): disconnected
Throttle body 6P connector: disconnected
Test circuit
THL1, THL2
Test point 1
PCM connector B (51P) No. 46 (RED/BLK)
Test point 2
PCM connector B (51P) No. 47 (RED/BLU)
Is there continuity?
Repair a short in the THL1 wire to THL2 wire between PCM connector terminals B46 (THL1 line) and B47 (THL2 line), then
do the repair verification .
Repair verification:
?1.
Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
?2.
Reconnect all connectors.
?3.
Exit the SCS mode with the HDS.
SCS Open
