DTC Troubleshooting: P2715
DTC P2715: Pressure Control Solenoid "D" Stuck On
NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot with the HDS, and review the General Troubleshooting Information.

1.
Problem verification:

Problem verification
?1.
Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.

?2.
Clear the DTC with the HDS.


?3.
Start the engine, and warm it up to normal operating temperature (the radiator fan comes on twice).

?4.
With the brake pedal pressed, shift to N, then to D, and wait for at least 1 second. Release the brake pedal, and test-drive the vehicle in D on a flat road at speeds 12 mph (20 km/h) or below for at least 10 seconds.

?5.
Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode. Restart the engine, with the brake pedal pressed, shift to N, then to D, and wait for at least 1 second. Release the brake pedal, and retest-drive the vehicle in D on a flat road at speeds 12 mph (20 km/h) or below for at least 10 seconds.

?6.
Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC P2715 indicated??

     
YES
     
     
     
     
NO
     
     
     
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.?
Repair verification (OBD STATUS check):

?1.
Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.

?2.
Clear the DTC with the HDS.


?3.
Start the engine, and warm it up to normal operating temperature (the radiator fan comes on twice).

?4.
With the brake pedal pressed, shift to N, then to D, and wait for at least 1 second. Release the brake pedal, and test-drive the vehicle in D on a flat road at speeds 12 mph (20 km/h) or below for at least 10 seconds.

?5.

Monitor the OBD STATUS for P2715 in the DTCs MENU with the HDS.

Troubleshooting is complete. Check for other DTC after this troubleshooting. If any other Pending or Confirmed DTCs were indicated, go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.?

Repair verification is incomplete. Meet the test condition, and check the OBD STATUS again.
