NOTE: Refer to the Electrical Wiring Diagrams for the location of the under-dash fuse/relay box connectors.

Does the front accessory power socket work?

     
YES
     
     
     
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.?
     
NO
     
     
     
Go to step 2.
2.
Fuse check:

Check the following fuses.

Is each fuse OK?

     
YES
     
     
     
Go to step 3.
     
NO
     
     
     
Replace the fuse. If the fuse blows again, repair a short to ground in the No. A12-1 (60 A), No. B37 (7.5 A), and/or No. B40 (15 A) fuse circuit(s).?

Front accessory power socket relay check:

Front accessory power socket relay check

Remove the front accessory power socket relay from the under-dash fuse/relay box, and test it.

Is the relay OK?

     
YES
     
     
     
Go to step 4.
     
NO
     
     
     
Replace the front accessory power socket relay, then recheck.?

Open wire check (+B F/BOX MAIN2 line) 1:

Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.

OFF mode
Front accessory power socket relay: disconnected
Test circuit
+B F/BOX MAIN2

Under-dash fuse/relay box connector F (18P) No. 1 (RED)

Body ground


Is there battery voltage?

     
YES
     
     
     
Go to step 5.
     
NO
     
     
     
Repair an open or high resistance in the wire.?

Open wire check (+B F/BOX MAIN2 line) 2:

Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.

OFF mode
Front accessory power socket relay: disconnected
Test circuit

Front accessory power socket relay 4P socket No. 2

Is there battery voltage?

     
YES
     
     
     
Go to step 6.
     
NO

Determine possible failure area (front accessory power socket relay switch side circuit, front accessory power socket relay coil side circuit):

Connect terminals A and B with a jumper wire.

Does the front accessory power socket work?

Go to step 7.
     
NO
     
     
     
Go to step 10.

Go to step 8.

Open wire check (GND line) 1:

Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

IG LOCK (0) or OFF mode
Console accessory power socket relay: disconnected
Test circuit

Console accessory power socket relay 4P socket No. 4 (BRN)

Is there continuity?

Go to step 9.

Open wire check (GND line) 2:

Disconnect the following connector.

Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

Under-dash fuse/relay box connector D (44P): disconnected

Repair an open or high resistance in the ground wire or poor ground (G601).?
