Fundamentals of Automotive Steel Sheets - High-Strength Steel Sheets (others)

Other High-Strength Steel Sheets
Bake Hardened (BH) Steel Sheet:

?
BH steel is originally soft, but increases its strength through the baking process after being work-hardened by the stamping process.

Cold Stamping:

?
It is a stamping process to press form one of the high-strength steel types called high-tensile steel under a normal temperature. The steel sheets used for this process contains a small amount of precious metal to increase the strength by several times higher than the normal steel sheets. It is difficult to form the steel to the requirements through this process, but it is possible to produce light parts similar to hot stamping.
