Paint Film for General Mass Production Vehicles
Many different paints are used on vehicles. They are chosen based on the requirements of each part such as:

The next two pages show the different coating layers commonly used on new vehicle bodies.






(1) Soft Chipping Guard Primer Coating
Topcoat: Thermoset aluminum alkyd resin paint

Intermediate Coating: Polyester resin paint

Rock Chip Protection: Chipping guard primer

Basecoat: Polybutadiene resin paint, epoxy resin paint (primer)

Inner Plate Color Layer: Thermoset aluminum alkyd resin paint
