Paint Repair Equipment - Air Pipes and Equipment
1. Air Pipes and Equipment

Observe the followings when you install air pipes in the workshop, or connect tools to air hoses.

1.
Air Pressure Drop:
The smaller the inner diameter of the air pipe or hose, the larger the pressure drop and the poorer the water separating capability will be. Use larger diameter air pipes and hoses whenever possible.

2.
Water Removal:
All compressed air contains water which condenses into droplets as the air cools. Using a spray gun without a water separator will cause paint defects and possible equipment damage. Install water separators on air lines used for spray guns. Also slope the air supply pipe runs slightly to allow water drainage.
