Most collision repair shops should have no problem handling water-based paint. However, water-based paint is much more sensitive to air quality than the solvent-based type. Contaminated compressed air may cause paint defects. Be sure to maintain the air compressor and supply pipes thoroughly and use well-maintained water and oil separators.
