Engine Oil Pump Chain Removal and Installation

1. Alternator Mounting Bolt - Remove


3. Engine Support Hanger and Universal Lifting Eyelet - Install

NOTE:
Be careful when working around the windshield.
Be careful not to damage the hood opener cable when installing the engine support hanger at the front bulkhead.

1.
Remove the front damper caps.


2.
Attach the universal lifting eyelet to the alternator.

3.
Install the engine support hanger onto the vehicle as shown.

4.
Attach the hook to the slotted hole in the universal lifting eyelet.

5.
Tighten the wing nut (A) by hand, and lift and support the engine/transmission.

5. Oil Pump Chain - Remove



NOTE: These marks (A) shall be used in product process only and not used for maintenance purpose. There is no need to line up the marks as it has no effect on the engine operation.


1. Oil Pump Chain - Install

Install the oil pump chain (A).

3. Engine - Support

Lift and support the engine with a jack and a wood block under the oil pan.

4. Engine Support Hanger and Universal Lifting Eyelet - Remove


6. Alternator Mounting Bolt - Install
