3. Back-Up Light Switch - Test (On Mission)

Check for continuity and resistance of the back-up light switch when the shift lever is in reverse and in any positions other than reverse, according to the abobe table.
If the test result is OK, install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
If the test result is not OK, go to the next step.

5. Back-Up Light Switch - Test (Off Mission)
1.
Check for continuity and resistance of the back-up light switch when pressing and releasing the switch end, according to the abobe table.
If the test result is OK, check the reverse shift mechanism in the transmission.
If the test result is not OK, replace the back-up light switch.

6. All Removed Parts - Install
1.
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
