Front Door Outer Handle Removal and Installation
Front Door Cylinder
1.
Front Door Cylinder - Remove
1.
Remove the plug cap (A).
2.
Remove the bolt (B).
3.
Remove the base cover (A).
4.
Driver's side: Remove the door cylinder (B).
2.
All Removed Parts - Install
1.
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
Front Door Outer Handle

Front Door Plastic Cover - Remove

Front Door Cylinder - Remove

Front Door Outer Handle - Remove
1.
With keyless access system: Disconnect the connector (A).
2.
Remove the front door outer handle (A).
4.
Front Door Outer Handle Seals - Remove
5.
All Removed Parts - Install
1.
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
Front Door Outer Handle Base

Front Door Outer Handle - Remove

Front Door Outer Handle Base - Remove
1.
Remove the harness clips (A).
2.
Remove the front door lock open rod (B) from the front door latch (C).
3.
Remove the nut (D).
4.
Remove the special bolt (E).
5.
Remove the front door outer handle base (F).
6.
Remove the rod fastener (A) from the front door lock open rod (B).
7.
Disconnect the front door lock open rod with a clip remover.
8.
Remove the rod fastener (A).
3.
All Removed Parts - Install
1.
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
