Trunk Lid Torsion Bar Removal and Installation

1. Rear Seat-Back Release Lever - Remove

2. Trunk Lid Torsion Bar - Remove
1.
Remove the trunk lid torsion bars (A) from the trunk lid torsion bar clip (B).
2.
Remove the trunk lid torsion bars (A) with the torsion bar assembly tool from both trunk lid hinges as shown.
3.
If necessary, remove the trunk lid torsion bar holders (A) and the trunk lid torsion bar slider (B).
4.
If necessary, remove the trunk lid torsion bar clip (A).

3. All Removed Parts - Install
1.
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
