2. Rear Power Window Motor - Test


NOTE:
Before testing, make sure not to short the power window motor circuit.
Illustrations used in the procedure are for 4-door.

1.
Test the motor in each direction by connecting 12 volt battery power and ground at the connector (A) according to the table. When the motor stops running, disconnect 12 volt battery power immediately.

If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, remove the rear door regulator, then go to step 2.







2.
Test the rear power window motor (A) by connecting 12 volt battery power and ground according to the table. When the motor stops running, disconnect 12 volt battery power immediately.

3.
If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, the rear power window motor is faulty; replace the rear door regulator.

If the motor runs smoothly, replace the wire harness or adjust the rear door glass.

3. All Parts Removed - Install

Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
