Wiper Blade Removal and Installation
Windshield

1. Locking Back Wiper Arms - Procedure
1.
Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
2.
Turn and hold the wiper/washer switch to the MIST position, and then turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
3.
Release the wiper/washer switch.
NOTE: The wiper arm stops at the lock back position.
4.
Lift the wiper arm(s) off the windshield.

2. Windshield Wiper Blade - Remove
1.
Lift the wiper arm(s) off the windshield, raising the driver's side first, then the passenger's side.
2.
Pull up the tab (A).
3.
Slide the windshield wiper blade assembly (B) off the windshield wiper arm (C).
4.
Find the end of the blade holder labeled "SET" (A), and then pull back the wiper blade (B).
5.
Pull out the wiper blade (A) through the wiper blade opening.
6.
If necessary, remove the end cap (A) by pressing tab (B).
NOTE: When removing it, take care not to damage the rubber holder (C).

Rear Window (With Rear Window Wiper)

1. Rear Window Wiper Blade - Remove
1.
Lift the wiper arm off the rear window.
2.
Pull up the tab (A).
3.
Slide the rear window wiper blade assembly (B) off the rear window wiper arm (C).
4.
Find the end of the blade holder labeled "SET" (A), and then pull back the wiper blade (B).
5.
Pull out the wiper blade (A) through the wiper blade opening.
6.
If necessary, remove the end cap (A) by pressing tab (B).
NOTE: When removing it, take care not to damage the rubber holder (C).

Windshield

1. Windshield Wiper Blade - Install
1.
If necessary, install the end cap (A).
2.
Find the end of the blade holder labeled "SET" (A), and install the wiper starting with the tip that has no projection.
NOTE: The wiper end with the projection should not be installed first.
3.
Install the new windshield wiper blade (B).
4.
Install the windshield wiper blade assembly (A) on the windshield wiper arm (B).

Rear Window (With Rear Window Wiper)

1. Rear Window Wiper Blade - Install
1.
If necessary, install the end cap (A).
2.
Find the end of the blade holder labeled "SET" (A), and install the wiper starting with the tip that has no projection.
NOTE: The wiper end with the projection should not be installed first.
3.
Install the new rear window wiper blade (B).
4.
Install the rear window wiper blade assembly (A) on the rear window wiper arm (B).
