Tailgate Latch Removal and Installation

NOTE:
How to read the torque specifications.
If the tailgate latch does not unlock by using the keyless entry transmitter or unlocking the driver's door lock, remove the maintenance lid (A) from the tailgate lower trim panel, then unlock the tailgate latch by turning the lock lever (B) clockwise as shown.

2. Tailgate Latch - Remove

Disconnect the connector (A).

Remove the tailgate latch (A).

3. All Removed Parts - Install
1.
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
