Front Seat-Back Cover Removal and Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

1. Front Seat-Back Panel - Remove
1.
Turn over the front seat-back undercover (A).
2.
Release the hook strip (A).
3.
Release the hooks (A).
4.
Release the hook strips (A).
5.
Remove the front seat-back panel (A).
6.
If necessary, remove the front seat-back front trim covers (A).

3. Front Seat-Back Cover/Pad - Remove
1.
Remove the harness clips (A).
2.
Release the hook strips (A).
4.
Remove the clips (A).
5.
Remove the seat-back cover/pad (B).

4. Front Seat-Back Cover - Remove
1.
Release the upholstery rings (A) and the hook and loop fasteners (B), then remove the seat-back cover (C).

5. All Removed Parts - Install
1.
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE: Replace all of the upholstery rings (A) fastening the seat-back cover (B) to the pad wires (C) with new ones using commercially available upholstery ring pliers (D).
