Front Seat-Back Cover Removal and Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

2. Front Seat-Back Cover/Pad - Remove
1.
From under the seat cushion, remove these items:
Connector (A) (With seat heater)
Harness clips (B)
2.
Release the hook strip (A).
3.
Unzip the seat-back cover (B).
4.
Release the hook strips (A).
5.
With seat heater: Remove the harness holder (B).
6.
Without cloth reinforcement type: Remove the side airbag.
7.
Height adjustable head restraint: Remove the head restraint guides (A).
8.
For some models: Remove the clips (A).
9.
Remove the seat-back cover/pad (B).

3. Front Seat-Back Cover - Remove

Height Adjustable Head Restraint

Fixed Head Restraint
1.
Remove the upholstery rings (A) securing the seat-back cover (B).

4. All Removed Parts - Install
1.
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE: Replace all of the upholstery rings (A) fastening the seat-back cover (B) to the pad wires (C) with new ones using commercially available upholstery ring pliers (D).
