Wiper Arm/Nozzle Adjustment
Windshield (Type-R)

1. Wiper Arm/Nozzle - Adjust

Adjust the washer nozzles by gently gripping, and then moving the outside of each nozzle (A).
Do not insert tools into the nozzle hole (B), as it may cause the washer fluid to spray incorrectly.


Wiper Arms Auto-Stop Position

Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then turn the wiper switch ON, and then back OFF.

When the wiper arms stop at the auto-stop position, make sure that they are at the correct position.

a: Position at about 40.3 mm (1.587 in) from the end of the windshield to the end cap of the wiper blade (C).

b: Position at about 38.5 mm (1.516 in) from the cowl cover (D) to the end cap of the wiper blade.


Washer Nozzle Position

When you turn on the washer, make sure 50 % or more of the washer fluid lands within the spray area. If the spray area is not within the standard positions, adjust the nozzle(s).

d: Position at about 250 mm (9.84 in) from the windshield center line (E).

e: Position at about 81.7 mm (3.217 in) from the end of black ceramic gradation area (F) at the lower windshield.

2. Wiper Arm/Nozzle - Adjust

Adjust the washer nozzles by gently gripping, and then moving, the outside of each nozzle (A).
Do not insert tools into the nozzle hole (B), as it may cause the washer fluid to spray incorrectly.


Wiper Arm Auto-Stop Position

Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then turn the wiper switch ON, and then back OFF.

When the wiper arms stops at the auto-stop position, make sure that it is at the correct position.

a: Wiper arm stop position at the silver paste print mark (C) of the glass.


Washer Nozzle Position

When you turn on the washer, make sure 50 % or more of the washer fluid lands within the spray area. If the spray area is not within the standard positions, adjust the nozzle.

b: Position at about 13 mm (0.51 in) from the end of the black ceramic gradation area (D).

d: Position at about 140.7 mm (5.539 in) from the end of the black ceramic gradation area.
