Exhaust Pipe and Muffler Removal and Installation

NOTE:

Although a numbered sequence is shown, exhaust pipe A and the muffler are two separate components. If removal or replacement of one of the components is needed, it is not necessary to remove the other.

NOTE: Remove the necessary part(s).


NOTE:
When removing the muffler, do this procedure.
Remove the appropriate portion of the rear inner fender.

3. Exhaust Pipe A - Remove


4. Muffler - Remove


5. Heat Shield - Remove
Note for installation

When installing the heat shield, temporarily tighten the bolt , then tighten the bolts in the numbered sequence shown to the specified torque.


6. All Removed Parts - Install

Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
