The front seat heater control unit does not turn on the front seat heater until the seat core temperature is 185 °F (85 °C) degrees or less. Make sure the seat core temperature is below 185 °F (85 °C) before troubleshooting.

Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode and then the ON mode.

Wait for at least 90 seconds.

Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.?

Measure the resistance between test points 1 and 2, refer to the following table.
