If any of the DTCs listed below are indicated at the same time as DTC P219C, P219D, P219E, and/or P219F, troubleshoot those DTCs first, then recheck for P219C, P219D, P219E, and/or P219F.
NOTE: If the value of Fuel factor study valve is above the threshold, the PCM may detect an over-lean failure. If the value of Fuel factor study valve is below the threshold, the PCM may detect an over-rich failure.
Do the current condition(s) match the threshold?
YES
Go to step 2.
NO
The failure is duplicated. Go to step 4.
2.
On-board snapshot check:
On-board snapshot check
?1.
Check the recorded on-board snapshot parameter(s) with the HDS.
Fuel factor study valve of No1 cylinder
Fuel factor study valve of No2 cylinder
Fuel factor study valve of No3 cylinder
Fuel factor study valve of No4 cylinder
Do the parameter(s) of the recorded on-board snapshot match the threshold shown in step1-2?
YES
Go to step 3.
NO
The failure is duplicated. Go to step 4.
3.
Problem verification 2:
Problem verification 2
?1.
Start the engine.
?2.
Hold the engine speed at 3,000 rpm without load (CVT in P or N, M/T in neutral) until the radiator fan comes on, then let it idle.
Drive at a steady engine speed between 1,000?1,200 rpm, then accelerate up to 3,400 rpm at about 10?15 seconds, and repeat this 3 times or more if needed
