The fuse is OK. Reinstall the fuse, then go to step 4.

Replace the fuse. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then the OFF (LOCK) mode. If the fuse blows again, repair the short to ground on the No. B7 (10 A) fuse circuit.?

2/4-door: Replace the fuse. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then the OFF (LOCK) mode. If the fuse blows again, repair the short to ground on the No. B17 (5 A)*1, No. B4 (5 A)*2 fuse circuit.?

*2: With keyless access system
5-door: Replace the fuse. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then the OFF (LOCK) mode. If the fuse blows again, repair the short to ground on the No. B5 (10 A) fuse circuit.?

Gauge control module operation check:

Gauge control module operation check

Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

Check if all of the gauge indicators come on for a few seconds.

Do all the gauge indicators on?

     
YES

6.
Open wire check (IG1 OPTION3 (2/4-door) or IG1 OPTION (5-door) line):

Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

Disconnect the following connector.
2/4-door: Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector
5-door: Millimeter wave radar 8P connector

Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

?4.
Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.
2/4-door:

Repair an open in the IG1 OPTION3 (2/4-door) or IG1 OPTION (5-door) wire between the under-dash fuse/relay box and the multipurpose camera unit.?

Open wire check (GND line):

Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.
2/4-door:

Go to step 8.

2/4-door: Repair an open in the GND wire between the multipurpose camera unit and body ground (G502), or repair poor ground (G502).?
5-door: Repair an open in the GND wire between the millimeter wave radar and body ground (G401), or repair poor ground (G401).?
8.
F-CAN circuit communication check:

F-CAN circuit communication check
?1.
Connect the following connector.
2/4-door: Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector
5-door: Millimeter wave radar 8P connector

?2.
Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

?3.
Select the FUNCTION TEST in the CAN gateway with the HDS, then select the F-CAN Bus Connected Unit Check.

  

Which result is indicated?

     
Gauge control module (Bus A) is Not Available
     
     
     
Go to step 9.
     
Multipurpose camera unit (Bus B) (2/4-door) or millimeter wave radar (Bus B) (5-door) is Not Available
     
     
     
Go to step 10.
     
Multipurpose camera unit (2/4-door) or millimeter wave radar (5-door) and gauge control module are Detected
     
     
     
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting.?
9.
Open wire check (F-CAN A_L, F-CAN A_H lines):

Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

Disconnect the following connectors.
CAN gateway 12P connector
Gauge control module connector A (32P)

Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

Check for loose terminals in the CAN gateway 12P connector and gauge control module connector A (32P). If they are OK, substitute a known-good gauge control module, then retest. If the indicators come on then go off after substitution, replace the original gauge control module.?

Repair an open in the F-CAN A_H wire or the F-CAN A_L wire between the gauge control module and the CAN gateway.?

Check for any authorized service information related to the DTCs or symptoms you are troubleshooting. If they are OK, replace the multipurpose camera unit (2/4-door) or millimeter wave radar (5-door).?

Repair an open in the F-CAN B_H wire or the F-CAN B_L wire between the multipurpose camera unit (2/4-door) or millimeter wave radar (5-door) and the CAN gateway.?
