Record all the on-board snapshots with the HDS.

Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
?3.
Clear the DTC with the HDS.

Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.

P0236 Turbocharger Boost Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Problem
Is DTC P0236 indicated?
YES
The failure is duplicated. Go to step 2.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the turbocharger boost sensor and the PCM.
If the on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the on-board snapshot

Test-drive the vehicle for several minutes in the range of these on-board snapshot parameters recorded in step

Monitor the OBD STATUS for DTC P0236 in the DTCs MENU with the HDS.

Does the HDS indicate FAILED?
YES
Replace the turbocharger boost sensor
.?
NO
If the HDS indicates PASSED, intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the turbocharger boost sensor and the PCM.
If the on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the on-board snapshot
. If the HDS indicates NOT COMPLETED, retest and check the OBD STATUS again.?
