Let the engine cool to the ambient temperature. |
?2. |
Turn the vehicle to the ON mode. |
?3. |
Clear the DTC with the HDS.
|
?5. |
Let the engine idle without load (in neutral) until the radiator fan comes on, then let it idle.
NOTE: Do not raise the engine speed by pressing the accelerator pedal. |
?6. |
Monitor the OBD STATUS for DTC P0507 in the DTCs MENU with the HDS.

The failure is duplicated. Go to step 2. |

Vacuum leak check

Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode. |

Check for vacuum leaks at these parts:

PCV valve |
|
PCV hose |
|
EVAP canister purge valve |
|
Throttle body |
|
Intake air duct |
|
Intake manifold |
|
All parts through the turbocharger to the throttle body | | |
Are there any leaks?

|
|
Repair or replace the leaking part(s).? |
|
|
|
Recheck with different load conditions (turn on the headlights, the blower motor, or the A/C, change the gear position, etc.).? | |
