DTC P00FE: EVAP Vent Line Blockage
Special Tools Required
Vacuum Pump/Gauge, 0?30 inHg Snap-on YA4000A or equivalent, commercially available
NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information.

P00FE EVAP Vent Line Blockage
   

1.
Fuel vent tube visual check:

Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

Disconnect the fuel vent tube (A) from the EVAP canister (B), and connect the vacuum pump/gauge, 0?30 inHg, to the fuel vent tube as shown.

Apply vacuum to the fuel vent tube.

Does the tube hold vacuum?

     
YES
     
     
     
Remove the fuel tank, and remove the fuel vent tube. Then visually check the fuel vent tube for deformation, excessive bend, foreign object clogged, or restrictions, and repair or replace it if needed.?
     
NO
     
     
     
Go to step 2.

EVAP canister check:

EVAP canister check
?1.
Connect the hose (A) to the EVAP canister fuel vent tube port (B), and connect the vacuum pump/gauge, 0?30 inHg, to the hose as shown.


?2.
Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

?3.
Apply 1.3 kPa (0.4 inHg, 10 mmHg) of vacuum to the hose.
NOTE: Be careful not to exceed the vacuum. If you do, the FTP sensor can be damaged.

Check the parameter(s) below with the HDS.
