Exterior Lights System Description - Overview
The exterior lights includes the headlights, parking lights, taillights, side marker lights, license plate lights, fog lights, turn signal lights, brake lights, automatic lighting system, and daytime running lights system. Headlights
The headlight consists of the halogen headlights, the MICU, the combination light switch, and the gauge control module for lighting indicators. Fog Lights
The fog light consists of the fog lights, the MICU, the combination light switch, and the gauge control module for lighting indicators. Parking Lights
The parking light system consists of the parking lights, taillights, side marker lights, license plate lights, taillight relay, MICU and combination light switch. Brake Lights
The brake light consists of the brake lights, high mount brake light, brake pedal position switch, and brake light relay. Back-Up Lights
The back-up light consists of the back-up lights and back-up light switch (M/T) or the reverse relay circuit (CVT). Daytime Running Lights
The daytime running lights consists of the MICU, the left and right headlight high beams, and the parking brake switch. The daytime running lights operate with the vehicle in ON mode, the headlights off (headlight switch OFF or AUTO position), and the parking brake released. Automatic Lighting System
The automatic lighting system consists of the MICU, the automatic lighting control unit-sensor, the combination light switch, and the gauge control module for lighting the light control indicator. The system automatically controls the lighting operation. The automatic lighting function detects the luminance in the surroundings and automatically controls ON/OFF of lighting operation by B-CAN communication according to the luminance. |
