CVTF Warmer Removal and Installation

NOTE: Keep all foreign particles out of the transmission.

5. Transmission Fluid Warmer Hose - Disconnect

Disconnect the transmission fluid warmer hoses (A).

NOTE: Be careful not to damage the transmission fluid warmer when disconnecting the transmission fluid warmer hoses.

6. Transmission Fluid Warmer - Remove

Remove the transmission fluid warmer (A) with the O-rings (B).

NOTE: The transmission fluid warmer is aluminum part. Be careful not to damage the transmission fluid warmer.






2.
Remove the transmission fluid warmer strainer (A) with the O-ring (B).

3.
Clean the transmission fluid warmer strainer if necessary. Replace the transmission fluid warmer strainer, if it is clogged or damaged.

NOTE:
Do not use compressed air to clean the transmission fluid warmer strainer.
Soak the transmission fluid warmer strainer thoroughly in transmission fluid.


NOTE:
Keep all foreign particles out of the transmission.
Apply a light coat of clean transmission fluid on all O-rings before installation.

1. Transmission Fluid Warmer - Install

Install the transmission fluid warmer strainer (A) with a new O-ring (B).





2.
Install the transmission fluid warmer (A) with new O-rings (B).

NOTE: The transmission fluid warmer is aluminum part. Be careful not to damage the transmission fluid warmer.

2. Transmission Fluid Warmer Hose - Connect



1.
Connect the transmission fluid warmer hoses (A), while aligning the paint marks (B) on the transmission fluid warmer lines with the paint marks (C) on the transmission fluid warmer hose ends.

NOTE: Be careful not to damage the transmission fluid warmer when connecting the transmission fluid warmer hoses.

2.
Secure the transmission fluid warmer hoses with the clamps (D).
