Torque Converter Housing Bearing Replacement

NOTE: Apply a light coat of clean transmission fluid on all parts before installation.

1. Torque Converter Housing Bearing - Remove
1.
While expanding the snap ring (A) using the snap ring pliers, remove the torque converter housing bearing (B).
2.
Remove the snap ring.

2. Torque Converter Housing Bearing - Install
1.
Install a new snap ring (A).
NOTE:
Do not deform the snap ring more than necessary.
Make sure the snap ring is firmly installed in the groove.
2.
While expanding the snap ring using the snap ring pliers, install the torque converter housing bearing (B) as shown.
NOTE: Make sure the snap ring is firmly installed in the groove.
