Front Seat Cushion Cover Removal and Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

2. Front Seat Cushion Cover/Pad - Remove

Release the hooks (A).




Driver's seat

Passenger's seat (without seat belt reminder switch)

Passenger's seat (with seat belt reminder switch)

Remove the harness clips (A) and the harness holders (B).
3.
Disconnect the connector (C).
4.
Release the hooks (A).
5.
Pull out the harness(es) (A, B).
6.
Remove the clip (A) and the hooks (B).
7.
Remove the front seat cushion cover/pad (A).

3. Front Seat Cushion Cover - Remove
1.
Remove the upholstery rings (A), then remove the front seat cushion cover (B).

4. All Removed Parts - Install
1.
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE: Replace all of the upholstery rings (A) fastening the front seat cushion cover (B) to the pad wires (C) with new ones using commercially available upholstery ring pliers (D).
